Scheduled Interface Downtime – MQ Upgrade

Incident Report for Tiger Institute System Status

Investigating

S Situation

The interfaces will be temporarily unavailable on November 3, 2026, from 2300–2359 (11:00 PM–11:59 PM) due to a scheduled MQ upgrade.

B Background

The MQ upgrade is a planned maintenance activity required to support system infrastructure and ensure continued interface functionality and performance.

All Cerner applications (PowerChart, Revenue Cycle, FirstNet, SurgiNet, etc.) will be available during this event.

A Assessment

During the maintenance window, interface communication with Cerner will be interrupted. Systems and applications dependent on these interfaces may experience delays or temporary disruptions in sending and receiving data.
Patients can still be registered in the Cerner system.
No other non-Cerner downstream systems will be updated during this event.

R Recommendation

Utilize downtime procedures for non-Cerner downstream systems. Contact the HELP desk (573-884-4357) for any issues during the downtime.

Please plan accordingly and communicate this scheduled downtime to all impacted departments and stakeholders

Normal interface operations are expected to resume following completion of the upgrade.
