S Situation
The Spacelabs ICS Clinical Access will be undergoing system upgrades on Wednesday 9am to 12pm, updating to version 5.6.3 in the process.

B Background
- This upgrade allows MUHC to move from an unsupported server OS.
- There should be no loss of data on patient waveforms or reports expected.

A Assessment
- Units should be aware of the change and know that they will need to launch the new version of clinical access to review waveforms.
- Clinical Engineering and Spacelabs technicians will be visiting units and monitoring progress to update central monitors. Device Integration will be actively verify data flowing over from the new Clinical Access.

R Recommendation
- Please share information with staff and ask to call the helpdesk immediately if any issues are noticed after the upgrade.
- Staff should monitor for alarms at central stations during this window.
- Starting after 10am, users should confirm if they are using the new version of Clinical Access. If actively using Spacelabs prior or during to the change window, users will need to Log Out and back into Citrix Receiver.
- Confirm that when launching Clinical Access again, Version ICS G2 5.6.3.4766 displays in the lower right hand corner.
