S Situation
The CRMC and MU interface servers have been running low on free memory. If the servers become too full, the engine will shut itself down as a precautionary measure thus preventing interface transactions from flowing to disparate systems. ________________________________________________________________________________
B Background
The increase in MU visit number use has caused an increase strain on Cloverleaf Interface Engine file systems resulting in less free memory. _________________________________________________________________________________
A Assessment
Downtime maintenance to the Cloverleaf Engine server is required on 4/17/24 from 2200 to 2359 to add additional memory. During this time, 3 rd party interfaces will not be able to send or receive data to/from the EMR. Some examples are: Teletracking, IDX, Experian, MagView, McKesson PACS, etc. __________________________________________________________________________________
R Recommendation
- Use downtime procedures during this maintenance. - Cerner solutions will remain functional. - Queued transactions during this downtime will flow once connectivity is restored.
